Keeping the village safe, respectful, and welcoming.

The Village Spot is a community space. These standards describe how we expect people to treat one another and the businesses listed here. They apply to submissions, reviews, messages, and any other contributions.
Our values
- Respect: treat neighbors and business owners with dignity.
- Honesty: share truthful, first-hand information.
- Community first: act in ways that strengthen the village.
Not allowed
- Hate speech, slurs, harassment, threats, or intimidation.
- Discrimination or attacks based on identity.
- False information, impersonation, or fraud.
- Sharing others' private information without consent.
- Spam, scams, or unauthorized advertising.
Moderation
Public contributions are pre-moderated — reviewed by an administrator before they appear. We may edit, hide, or remove content that violates these standards, and may restrict accounts that repeatedly break them.
Reporting
If you see something that violates these standards, you'll be able to report it. In the meantime, contact us at hello@thevillagespot.com.
